Escorting our American Legion National Commander Daniel Seehafer

The American Legion Riders from Jeff Davis Post 18, along with Legion Riders from Benedict A. Andrew Post 296 (Queenstown), Sgt. Preston Ashley Post 228 (Rock Hall), and Cummings-Behlke Post 226 (Mayo), had the honor of escorting our American Legion National Commander Daniel Seehafer, along with Officers from our Eastern Shore Region to visit Patriot Point. Patriot Point is a 294-acre retreat that provides a safe, secure and tranquil outdoor recreational retreat facility for wounded, ill, and injured active duty service members, veterans, their families and caregivers who face daily struggles related to their time spent defending our great nation. We picked up the Commander at Blake Blackston Post 77 (Easton) and escorted him safely to Patriot Point for a tour of the facility. Following the visit to Patriot Point we escorted the Commander and our ESR Officers to Dorchester Post 91 (Cambridge) for a brief introduction and lunch. Thanks to all Legion Riders who came out to escort the Commander, thank you to all of our ESR Officers who put so much time in to better our American Legions here on the Shore, and thanks to Blake Blackston Post 77 (Easton), and Dorchester Post 91 (Cambridge) for the wonderful hospitality you showed to all of us today! Thanks also to Hugh Middleton for the tour of Patriot Point. And a very Special thanks to our American Legion National Commander Daniel Seehafer, for all your time and sacrifices you make for the American Legion Nationally, we truly appreciate your leadership and your message! Be The One!
