Please follow along with our full restoration of our artillery gun that stands out side of American Legion, Jeff Davis Post 18. The Gun was used by the US Army and is a M9A1 field gun, number 1879 that was found on the cannon model plate . Produced by Rock Island Arsenal in 1944, and decommissioned after WWII. We will add photos and details as we progress along.
